As an Administration Officer – Reception at the Adelaide Remand Centre, you’ll play an important role supporting the daily operations of a busy and secure correctional facility. You’ll be the first point of contact for visitors, callers, and stakeholders, providing clear information and professional service. Working closely with the administration team, you’ll help coordinate visitor bookings, manage enquiries, and maintain accurate records. Your calm, organised approach will help create a respectful and supportive environment for staff, visitors and the wider community.

As an Administration Officer – Reception, you’ll make a positive impact by:

  • Managing reception enquiries and directing calls to the appropriate teams.
  • Processing visitor bookings and entering information into relevant systems.
  • Communicating clearly with visitors and stakeholders to provide accurate information.
  • Maintaining confidential records and visitor logbooks in line with procedures.
  • Supporting communication between departments regarding visitor information.
  • Recording complaints and enquiries accurately in the required systems.
