Make an impact at Serco
We’re looking for a Data & Reporting Analyst to join our People Services division in Adelaide. In this role, you’ll support our Operations Support Centre by delivering timely and insightful data that drives informed decision-making. You’ll balance BAU reporting with exciting projects, working with tools like Power BI and SQL to build models, create reports, and develop dashboards.
With a mix of technical problem-solving and stakeholder engagement, you’ll play a key role in shaping how data is used across the business.
As a Data & Reporting Analyst in the People Services team, you’ll make a positive impact by:
- Delivering ad-hoc, weekly, and monthly reports with accuracy and timeliness.
- Carrying out testing, documentation, and user acceptance activities.
- Creating and maintaining dashboards and data models in Power BI.
- Supporting workforce management insights through data analysis.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into reporting solutions.
- Exploring data trends to generate insights and recommend improvements.

To be successful in this role you’ll have:
- Experience with SQL scripting, Python, Power BI and data modelling.
- Strong problem-solving skills and curiosity to explore data.
- Ability to communicate clearly and manage stakeholders effectively.
- A collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn.
- Exposure to workforce management or HR datasets (desirable).
- Tertiary qualifications or relevant certifications in analytics, data, or IT (advantageous but not essential).
