Working within a highly skilled nursing team, you’ll play a vital role in delivering telephone-based triage, medical advice, and referral services to Army, Navy, and Air Force personnel in a unique and fast-paced environment.

What you’ll do
As a MATRS Registered Nurse, you will:
- Deliver high-quality telephone triage, medical advice, and referral services
- Conduct clinical assessments and support patient care decision-making
- Provide healthcare guidance and referral pathways for Defence personnel
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold best-practice standards
- Participate in a 24x7 rotating roster, including night and weekend shifts
What you bring
As the ideal applicant you will have:
- Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum of 12 months full-time postgraduate nursing experience in acute care, primary healthcare, emergency, telehealth, or military health settings
- Current CPR certification (HLTAID009)
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
- Australian Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline Defence Security Clearance
- Commitment to ethical practice, continuing professional development, and patient-centred care
- Ability to work autonomously in a telephone-based clinical environment
