About the Role
As a MATRS Registered Nurse you will be responsible for providing quality clinical advice to patients. You will be responsible for clinical assessment, triage, and provision of medical advice to Eligible Personnel via the 1800 IMSICK and All Hours Support Line (ASL) 24-hour telephone service. MATRS Clinicians shall be supported by contemporary clinical decision support tools and standard scripting as approved by the Commonwealth and in accordance with applicable professional standards, legislation and Defence Policies and Procedures.
As the ideal applicant you will have:
- A current unconditional and unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- At least 2 years full-time, post graduate experience within the last 5 years in an acute care, primary health, or military setting.
- Recent participation in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) activities in accordance with AHPRA.
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification.
