We're looking for a dedicated Dentist to join our multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality oral healthcare to Australian Defence Force personnel at Amberley Health Centre.
This is a permanent part-time opportunity, working 2 days per week (Mondays and Tuesdays). You'll work 6.5-hour shifts, rostered between 7:00 AM and 2:00 PM, giving you an excellent work-life balance while making a real difference to the health and wellbeing of Defence members.

About Amberley Health Centre
Amberley Health Centre, located at RAAF Base Amberley — the largest Air Force base in Australia, just 50 minutes from Brisbane. The centre delivers healthcare services to over 6,500 RAAF members and includes primary medical, dental, nursing, physiotherapy, and mental health care. The standard operating hours are 07:30 – 15:30 Monday – Friday (depending on role requirements and specific craft groups required for weekend and on-call shifts).
What you’ll do
- Deliver clinical dental services to Defence members
- Provide a full range of general dental care including examinations, diagnosis, treatment planning and preventative care
- Undertake procedures such as restorations, extractions, root canal treatments, periodontal care and minor oral surgery
- Promote and maintain oral health through patient education, preventative strategies and ongoing care
- Use diagnostic tools including dental imaging to support clinical decision-making and treatment planning
- Maintain accurate clinical records using Defence eHealth systems and ensure compliance with governance frameworks
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team to support optimal patient outcomes
What you bring
- Current unconditional and unrestricted registration as a Dentist with AHPRA
- Minimum two years’ full-time (or equivalent) post graduate clinical experience, with recent practice within the last five years
- Strong clinical capability across a broad range of general dentistry procedures
- Current First Aid (HLTAID011) and CPR (HLTAID009) certification
- Australian Citizenship required for baseline security clearance
- Commitment to CPD and ethical, patient-centred care
