About the Amberley Health Centre
RAAF Base Amberley is Australia’s largest Air Force base, located approximately 50 minutes from Brisbane. The base delivers operational and maintenance support to Super Hornets, MRTTs, Globemasters and other key Air Force capabilities.
The health centre supports over 6,500 RAAF members, providing:
Primary and aviation medical services Nursing, dental, mental health, physiotherapy, and pharmaceutical care
Standard clinic operating hours:
0700–1630, Monday–Thursday (depending on role requirements)
Half-day Fridays (5.5 hours)
What you’ll do
- Provide high-quality clinical care to patients
- Develop and maintain patient care plans
- Conduct patient assessments and coordinate treatment across outpatient and inpatient settings
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver integrated, coordinated patient care
What you bring
- Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum 12 months post-graduate RN experience in acute care, primary health, or a military setting (within the last 5 years)
- Current HLTAID009 – CPR certification
- Recent CPD activity aligned with AHPRA requirements
- Australian Citizenship (required for Commonwealth security clearance)
- Passion for high-quality, patient-centred healthcare and the ability to work autonomously in a busy environment
