Make an Impact at Serco
As a casual Registered Nurse, you will deliver high-quality clinical care to Australian Defence Force (ADF) personnel in line with professional standards, Defence policies, and legislation. You will provide nursing care, maintain accurate clinical records, manage patient care plans, and coordinate patient management. You will also contribute to clinical governance and quality improvement activities, support Defence health training and operations, and may participate in Field Training roles within military settings.
You could be a great fit if you have:
- Current, unconditional, and unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- At least 12 months full-time post-graduate nursing experience within the last 5 years in an acute care, primary healthcare, or military setting (or part-time equivalent).
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification.
- Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

About ADF Health Services
In partnership with Bupa, our ADF Health Services team provides integrated healthcare to ADF personnel across Australia. This includes delivering defence-ready clinical and support staff across more than 45 on-base locations, ensuring that ADF personnel have access to high-quality on-site medical care.
Amberley Health Centre, located at RAAF Base Amberley — the largest Air Force base in Australia, just 50 minutes from Brisbane. The centre delivers healthcare services to over 6,500 RAAF members and includes primary medical, dental, nursing, physiotherapy, and mental health care. The standard operating hours are 07:30 – 15:30 Monday – Friday (depending on role requirements and specific craft groups required for weekend and on-call shifts).
