About Anglesea Health Centre

Anglesea Barracks, located in Hobart, is the main site and one of the oldest Defence bases, built in 1811.  Anglesea Clinic is a small facility providing primary medical care, routine medical assessments and mental health services.  The standard operating hours are generally 07:30 – 15:30, Monday to Friday.

This role is a full time role, 1.0 FTE -  Mon to Sun on rational shifts. 

What you’ll do

• Deliver high quality primary healthcare, including health assessments and vaccinations or monitor and manage patients in a low dependency ward setting
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including general practitioners, physios, mental health clinicians, and dental professionals
• Support Defence members through injury recovery, chronic condition management, and preventative care

What you bring

• Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum one year Registered Nurse experience in acute care, primary health care or military setting
• Current CPR certification (HLTAID009)
• Australian Citizenship required (Baseline Security Clearance)
• Commitment to CPD and ethical, patient centred care
• Ability to work a 24/7 roster
