As a Physiotherapist at Cabarlah Health Centre, you will be an integral member of a multidisciplinary healthcare team, providing evidence-based physiotherapy assessments, treatments, and rehabilitation services to Australian Defence Force (ADF) personnel. The clinic is located within Borneo Barracks, 14 km north of Toowoomba, supporting approximately 250 personnel from the tri-service Defence Force School of Signals’ Electronic Warfare Wing. Standard clinic hours Monday–Thursday 7:30 am–4:00 pm and Friday 7:30 am–3:30 pm.
In this role, you will deliver musculoskeletal assessments, exercise prescription, rehabilitation programs, hydrotherapy, splinting and orthoses fitting, and provide clinical guidance and advice to personnel and the healthcare team. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary staff, including Physical Training Instructors, participate in clinical governance programs, and ensure the maintenance of department equipment and resources.
You could be a great fit if you have:
- Current unconditional and unrestricted registration as a Physiotherapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Minimum 2 years’ full-time (or part-time equivalent) post-graduate musculoskeletal experience in an accredited physiotherapy setting within the last 5 years
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification
- Desirable: Membership of the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA)
