About the Cerberus Health Centre
located on HMAS Cerberus at Westernport, adjacent to Crib Point on the Mornington Peninsula, south east of Melbourne. It is the primary training establishment for the Royal Australian Navy (RAN) personnel. This facility provides general medical, physiotherapy, pharmacy, dental, and mental health services, and operates a 30-bed low dependency ward. Whilst the health centre is open 24/7, standard hours of operation are 0730-1530 Monday-Friday. The Health Centre is also responsible for the provision of after-hours services to ADF personnel on the Mornington Peninsula
What you’ll do
- Keep the clinic running smoothly with fast, accurate clerical support
- Manage health records and data in line with Defence policies whilst maintaining privacy
- Coordinate appointments and liaise with internal/external health service
What you bring
- Minimum of 1 year of full-time (or part-time equivalent) experience in an administrative role.
- Completion of a medical terminology course from a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), or willingness to complete
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Sound computer literacy and experience with electronic health record systems highly regarded.
