About Edinburgh Health Centre
Located at RAAF Base Edinburgh, 25km North of Adelaide. This super-base accommodates 3500 personnel from the Australian Army and RAAF, as well as being home to the RAAF Institute of Aviation Medicine. The health centre operates a 16-bed low dependency ward 24/7. It provides primary medical, aviation medical, nursing, dental, physiotherapy, mental health, pharmaceutical and rehabilitation services. Standard operating hours are generally 07:30 – 15:30 Monday – Friday (depending on role requirements and specific craft groups required for weekend and on-call shifts).
What you’ll do

Deliver nursing care to Defence personnel under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse

Provide outpatient care, and where required support inpatient care within a health centre or hospital setting

Assist with patient assessments, treatment plans and health promotion activities

Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, efficient and high-quality care
What you bring
-
Current unconditional and unrestricted AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse (Division 2)

Minimum two years’ post registration nursing experience in acute care, primary healthcare or similar setting within the last five years
-
Commitment to clinical governance, infection control and high-quality patient care
-
Current CPR certification (HLTAID009)

Australian Citizenship required (baseline security clearance)
-
Commitment to CPD and ongoing professional development
