KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide high-quality primary healthcare, including conducting health assessments, administering vaccinations, and monitoring patients in a low-dependency ward setting.
- Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team, including general practitioners, physiotherapists, mental health clinicians, and dental professionals.
- Support Defence personnel with injury recovery, chronic condition management, and preventative healthcare initiatives.
YOUR PROFILE
As the ideal applicant you will have –
- Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- At least 12 months’ experience as a Registered Nurse working in acute care, primary health care or military setting
- Current CPR certification (HLTAID009)
- Australian Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline Defence Security Clearance
- Commitment to CPD and ethical, patient centred care
- Ability to work a 24/7 roster

ABOUT THE LOCATION
Edinburgh Health Centre is located 25km North of Adelaide, at RAAF Base Edinburgh. This super-base accommodates 3500 personnel from the Australian Army and RAAF, as well as being home to the RAAF Institute of Aviation Medicine. The health centre operates a 16-bed low dependency ward 24/7. It also provides primary medical, aviation medical, nursing, dental, physiotherapy, mental health, pharmaceutical and rehabilitation services.
Standard operating hours are generally 07:30 – 15:30 Monday – Friday (depending on role requirements and specific craft groups required for weekend and on-call shifts).
