About Us  

ADF Health Services provides integrated healthcare services to Australian Defence Force (ADF) personnel across Australia.  As part of this contract, Serco, in partnership with Bupa, provide defence-ready clinical and support staff across 50+ on-base locations nationally, ensuring that ADF personnel have access to quality on-site medical care. To learn more please visit www.serco.com/ahsc  

About the Role 

You will be responsible for providing clerical services including maintenance of electronic and hard copy health records, maintaining databases and information management systems, filing and photocopying and ordering stationery. You will also communicate with internal and external customers to obtain patient information as required. The work you undertake will be in accordance with Defence Policies and Procedures, Medical-in-Confidence and Staff-in-Confidence standards. 

 

This is a Permanent Full Time opportunity working Monday - Friday.

 

To be successful in this role, you will have: 

  • Australian Citizenship for Commonwealth Security Clearance purposes
  • Minimum of 1 year full-time experience in an Administrative role (or part-time equivalent). 
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a customer service focused environment (desirable). 
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team to support the delivery of safe, efficient and high-quality care to patients. 

 

About Enoggera Health Centre

Enoggera Health Centre is located at Gallipoli Barracks in Brisbane, and provides support to Gallipoli, Victoria, Bulimba, and Damascus Barracks. Established in 1908, this modern military base currently spans 600 hectares with approximately 8000 members. The largest base in South Queensland, it incorporates the Deployable Joint Force Headquarters, a major manoeuvre formation, local support facilities and a range of training facilities.  The health centre provides primary medical, aviation & underwater medical, surgical outpatient, dental, nursing, physiotherapy, mental health, and pharmaceutical services. This facility operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  The standard operating hours of the centre are generally 0700-1630 Monday – Friday (depending on role requirements and specific craft groups required for weekend shifts).

About You 

With experience working in a clinical support role, you enjoy knowing your work is contributing to positive health outcomes for patients.  Your excellent interpersonal skills mean you are able to easily communicate with internal staff and external customers and your team knows you are willing to go the extra mile to help out wherever needed. You understand the importance of accurate and up-to-date record keeping in a clinical environment and take pride in being responsible for this. You are a respectful and professional person who demonstrates exceptional moral values in everything you do. You are passionate about providing clinical support services and working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to support delivery of the highest standard of care to patients.
