Make an Impact at Serco

As a Nurse Practitioner, you will provide general nursing care with the added responsibility of:

• Assisting in emergency medical responses

• Prescribing medications and vaccinations

• Ordering diagnostic investigations

• Directly referring to other healthcare professionals

You will work in accordance with AHPRA competencies and professional standards, Defence policies, legislative requirements, and clinical governance directives. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including GPs, physios, mental health clinicians, and dental professionals, supporting Defence members with injury recovery, chronic condition management, and preventative care.

To be successful, you will have:

• Australian citizenship (required for Baseline Security Clearance)

• Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Nurse Practitioner

• Minimum 2 years NP experience in acute care, primary health care, or military settings

• Current CPR certification (HLTAID009)

• Commitment to CPD and ethical, patient-centred care

About ADF Health Services

In partnership with Bupa, our ADF Health Services team provides integrated healthcare to Australian Defence Force personnel across 45+ on-base locations.

This role is based at Enoggera Health Centre, Gallipoli Barracks, Brisbane, supporting nearby facilities including Gallipoli, Victoria, Bulimba, and Damascus Barracks.
