As a pharmacist, you’ll support high-quality healthcare services for Australian Defence Force (ADF) personnel by ensuring safe, effective medication management. You’ll provide dispensing services, pharmaceutical advice, and manage health stores within a multidisciplinary team.

About ADF Health Services
In partnership with Bupa, our ADF Health Services provide integrated care to ADF personnel across 45+ on-base locations.

Enoggera Health Centre
Located at Gallipoli Barracks in Brisbane, Enoggera supports multiple barracks and approximately 8,000 personnel. The base spans 600 hectares and includes major formations and training facilities.

The health centre offers primary medical, aviation & underwater medical, surgical outpatient, dental, nursing, physiotherapy, mental health, and pharmaceutical services. It operates 24/7 with standard hours generally 07:00 – 16:30 Monday to Friday, varying by role and weekend requirements.

Your responsibilities

  • Provide dispensing services and pharmaceutical care following Defence policies and standards

  • Manage pharmaceutical supplies, inventory, storage, and compliance

  • Offer clinical advice, training, and support to health practitioners

  • Maintain accurate patient and pharmacy records using Commonwealth ICT systems

To succeed you’ll need

  • Current, unrestricted Pharmacist registration with AHPRA

  • Minimum 2 years full-time (or equivalent) post-internship experience in Defence, hospital, or community pharmacy within 5 years

  • Recent CPD participation per AHPRA

  • Current CPR certification (HLTAID009)
