About the Role

As Storeperson you will be responsible for performing a range of tasks associated with the management of stores. This includes picking, packing, issuing and dispatching medical, dental and general stores, ordering stores using inventory management systems, assisting in maintenance of medical and dental equipment, co-ordinating hire of equipment and assisting in stocktake activities.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • The highest levels of personal integrity and ethical behaviour.
  • Minimum 2 years full-time experience as a Storeperson (or part-time equivalent).
  • Experience within a warehouse or stores environment (desirable).
  • The ability to work independently as well as part of a team to support the delivery of safe, efficient and high-quality care to patients.

About Stirling Health Centre

Located approximately 45km South of Perth, the Stirling Health Centre is on base at HMAS Stirling on Garden Island. This base has a 4km causeway that connects the island to the mainland of Rockingham, and the health centre itself offers physiotherapy, dentistry, pharmaceutical, general medical and outpatient services, and provides support to the Submarine and Underwater Medicine Unit. Its standard hours of operation are 0730-1600, Monday-Friday.
