About Holsworthy Health Centre
Holsworthy Health Centre is located 25 kilometres south-west of central Sydney. Located on a 20,000-hectare base, it comprises of a 41-bed inpatient ward which operates 24/7. Services provided include primary medical, aviation & underwater medical, nursing, dental, mental health, pharmaceutical and physiotherapy. Holsworthy base is also home to the Defence Force Correctional Establishment where detainees are visited by RNs daily. Standard hours of operation are generally 0730-1530 Monday to Friday (depending on role requirements, and base location you may be required for weekend and on-call shifts).
What you’ll do
- Deliver high-quality primary care to Defence members
- Occupational Medicine environment, conducting fitness-for-duty assessments and pre/post-deployment care, in addition to injury management, chronic disease management and preventative health
- Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary clinical environment where patient wellness is paramount
What you bring
- Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a General Practitioner
- FRACGP, FACRRM or Vocational Registration
- Minimum two years’ GP experience in the last five years in a General Practice Setting
- Current CPR certification (HLTAID009)
- Commitment to CPD and ethical, patient-centred care
- Australian Citizenship required (Baseline Security Clearance)
