Darwin Dental Hygienist – Robertson Health Centre - 15.2 hours per week (2 days)

Robertson Health Centre is located within Robertson Barracks in Holtze, approximately 15 km east of Darwin.
The facility supports approximately 2,800 Defence personnel, along with a significant Reserve component. The Barracks also host an additional 2,500 US Marines on a rotational basis from May to September each year. The Health Centre provides comprehensive services including primary medical, pharmaceutical, dental, physiotherapy, and mental health care, and operates a 22-bed, 24/7 inpatient ward. Standard operating hours are 7:30am–3:30pm, Monday to Friday
What you’ll do
- Provide oral hygiene treatments and preventive dental care to patients (defence members)
- Deliver tailored oral health education and advice to support wellbeing
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation
- Support infection control, sterilisation, and hygiene protocols
- Collaborate with dental and multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe care
- Ensure compliance with Defence policies and clinical standards
What you bring
- current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Dental Hygienist or Oral Therapist
- minimum 2 years’ recent clinical experience in dental hygiene
- ability to work both independently and within a supportive team
- strong communication skills with a caring, patient-focused approach
- commitment to maintaining high clinical and ethical standards
- Australian Citizenship a must to obtain Baseline Security Clearance
