About the Role
As the Health Clerk, you will be responsible for providing clerical services including maintenance of electronic and hard copy health records, maintaining databases and information management systems, filing and photocopying and ordering stationery.
You will communicate with internal and external customers to obtain patient information as required. The work you undertake will be in accordance with Defence Policies and Procedures, Medical-in-Confidence and Staff-in-Confidence standards.
About Robertson Health Centre
Located on Robertson Barracks in Holtze, just 15 km east of Darwin, the Robertson Health Centre serves approximately 2,800 Defence staff and accommodates an additional 2,500 US Marines from May to September each year. The centre provides a wide range of services, including primary medical care, pharmacy, dental, physiotherapy, and mental health services. It also operates a 22-bed, 24/7 ward, supporting the health needs of personnel. Standard operating hours are Monday to Friday, from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
About You
As the ideal applicant you will have:
- At least 12 months of experience in an administrative role (full-time or part-time)
- Experience in a clinical support or medical reception role (desirable)
- Demonstrated, exceptional customer service skills
- The highest level of personal integrity and ethical behaviour
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- The ability to understand the importance of accurate and up-to-date record-keeping in a clinical setting
- Australian Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline Defence Security Clearance
