About Kapooka Health Centre
Kapooka Health Centre & Clinic are approximately 10 minutes outside of Wagga Wagga within the Kapooka Military area located at Blamey Barracks.  All soldiers in the Army complete Basic Training here and why it is known as the “Home of the Soldier”.  These health facilities support the Army Recruit Training Centre (ARTC).  It has a 50-bed low dependency ward which operates 24/7.  Services provided include primary medical, nursing, dental, mental health, pharmaceutical and physiotherapy.  Health Centre staff may be required to work across Wagga & Kapooka.  Standard hours of operation are generally 0700-1600 Monday to Friday (depending on role requirements and specific craft groups required for weekend and on-call shifts).________________________________________
What you will do
•    Deliver high-quality primary care to Defence members
•    Occ Med environment
•    Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary clinical environment
•    Conduct fitness-for-duty assessments and pre/post-deployment care
•    Provide medical advice to Defence health leadership

What you bring
•    Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a General Practitioner
•    FRACGP, FACRRM or Vocational Registration
•    Minimum two years’ GP experience in the last five years
•    Current CPR certification (HLTAID009)
•    Australian Citizenship required (Baseline Security Clearance)
•    Commitment to CPD and ethical, patient-centred care
Additional information:
•    Provide Occupational Medicine services
•    Civilian role – no enlistment required
•    Part-time, full-time and after-hours opportunities available
