About the Kapooka Health Centre
Located just 10 minutes from Wagga Wagga at Blamey Barracks - “Home of the Soldier”, the Kapooka Health Centre facilities are part of the Army Recruit Training Centre (ARTC) and plays a vital role in delivering comprehensive healthcare to new recruits.
Spanning across two building, Kapooka offers variety with a 50 bed low dependency ward operating 24/7 and a multidisciplinary clinic delivering primary health care Monday to Friday day shift, offering a broad spectrum of healthcare services, including nursing, medical, dental, mental health, pharmaceutical, and physiotherapy.

What you’ll do

  • Deliver high-quality musculoskeletal care, leveraging a fully equipped gym and hydrotherapy pool to support tailored rehabilitation programs. 
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including general practitioners, nurses, and mental health clinicians. 
  •   Support Defence members through injury recovery, chronic condition management, and preventative care, ensuring they have access to state-of-the-art facilities that promote physical strength, resilience, and overall wellbeing.

What you bring

  • Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist
  • Minimum two years (or part time equivalent) musculoskeletal physiotherapy experience
  • Current CPR certification (HLTAID009)
  • Australian Citizenship required (Baseline Security Clearance)
  • Commitment to CPD and ethical, patient centred care
