Where You’ll Be Working

Opened in mid-2020, Clarence Correctional Centre is a 1,700-bed, state-of-the-art facility and the largest correctional centre in Australia. Located in Lavadia NSW on the North Coast (approximately 6 hours from Sydney and 3.5 hours from Brisbane), the region offers an exceptional lifestyle with rainforests, sand dunes, pristine beaches, and vibrant multicultural communities.

 

Your Impact in This Role

As a Health Services Administrator, you will provide essential administrative and clerical support to the Health Services team. You’ll contribute to the smooth operation of clinical and operational functions, supporting compliance, reporting, and stakeholder engagement within a highly regulated environment.

This is a Full time Monday to Friday role, 8:00am to 4:00pm, offering excellent work–life balance with no shift work.

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Previous administration experience (essential)
  • Experience in a healthcare, hospital, or correctional environment (highly regarded)
  • Certificate III or IV in Business Administration (desirable but not essential)
  • Familiarity with electronic health records or offender management systems (desirable)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • Ability to build effective relationships with a range of stakeholders
