You are highly organised and detail-oriented professional, ready to bring your administrative skills to a unique and meaningful environment. As an Administration Assistant – Trust within the Centre Services team, you’ll be based at Clarence Correctional Centre in Lavadia, NSW.
This full-time role offers the opportunity to support inmate financial management processes while contributing to a safe and respectful correctional environment. You’ll work closely with internal teams to ensure trust account processes are managed accurately, efficiently and in line with policy requirements.
As an Administration Assistant – Trust in the Centre Services team, you’ll make a positive impact by:
- Maintaining accurate records of payments made to and from inmate trust accounts for auditing
- Performing daily reconciliation of trust accounts and reporting any suspicious activity
- Crediting inmate accounts with funds received and disbursing funds upon release or transfer
- Uploading inmate earnings and processing digital and technology requests
- Monitoring and managing individual trust accounts in accordance with policy
- Liaising with inmates and internal teams to ensure efficient trust fund management

Clarence Correctional Centre is Australia’s largest correctional facility and is located in Lavadia, NSW, near Grafton on the state’s North Coast. Operated by Serco on behalf of the NSW Government, the centre focuses on rehabilitation, education and reintegration to support safer communities.

To be successful in this role you’ll have:
- Experience in providing administrative support
- Working knowledge and experience in systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong problem-solving, communication and teamwork skills
- Certificate III or IV in Business Administration (desired, not essential)
- The ability to meet compliance requirements including Police Check and clearance by Corrective Services NSW
