We are looking for a Rehabilitation & Reintegration Officer to join our Inmate Services team. You’ll join a passionate team committed to the rehabilitation and reintegration of inmates at Lavadia Correctional Centre in Northern NSW.
As a Rehabilitation & Reintegration Support Officer, you’ll provide vital administrative support that directly impacts inmates’ access to services and programs. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity to contribute to a positive and professional correctional environment.
About Clarence Correctional Centre
Opened in mid-2020, this 1,700-bed state-of-the-art facility is the largest correctional Centre in Australia.
Located on the beautiful NSW North Coast, approximately 6 hours' drive from Sydney and 3.5 hours from Brisbane, our region offers rainforests, epic headlands, sand dunes, and some of the best Australian beaches, along with a variety of multicultural cafes, restaurants, and friendly community towns.
As a R&R Support Officer in the Inmate Services team, you’ll make a positive impact by:
- Build and maintain program/course data in the Integrated Offender Management System (OIMS)
- Coordinate accurate data entry, procurement, office supplies, and administrative support systems
- Handling communication channels, including email inboxes, phone lines, and visitor reception
- Preparing reports, meeting minutes, agendas, and supporting action follow-up
- Assist in the coordination of events, travel bookings, and mail distribution

To be successful in this role, you’ll have:
- Certificate ll, III or IV in Business Administration (desirable)
- Proven experience in administrative support and office coordination
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Sound knowledge of IT systems and willingness to learn internal platforms
- High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality
