Registered Nurse – Clarence Correctional Centre 

 

About the Role

This is a full‑time position on a rotating roster, based at Clarence Correctional Centre, Lavadia NSW 2462. As a Registered Nurse, you’ll be part of a dedicated health team delivering primary care to approximately 1,700 inmates from diverse backgrounds. You’ll work across modern health centres, providing high‑quality, patient‑centred care in a secure and structured environment.

You’ll collaborate closely with correctional staff to deliver holistic, integrated health services in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment.

Previous corrections or custodial healthcare experience will be highly regarded.

 

Position Highlights

  • Salary up to $131,000 AUD, depending on experience
  • Relocation support available for suitable candidates relocating from other parts of Australia

What You’ll Bring

  • Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Minimum 2 years’ post‑graduate experience (full‑time or equivalent)
  • Experience in primary health, rural health, emergency nursing, or custodial healthcare
  • Commitment to ethical practice and person‑centred care
  • Willingness to complete all compliance checks including medical, drug & alcohol screening, and background checks
