We’re looking for a highly organised, proactive and collaborative Senior Asset & Purchasing Officer to support our Facilities Maintenance team at Clarence Correctional Centre in Lavadia, NSW. In this senior role, you’ll guide asset planning, data accuracy, purchasing processes and compliance across a dynamic and purpose-driven environment. You’ll work closely with the Asset Supervisor and a supportive team committed to doing important work that really matters in the justice space.

As a Senior Asset & Purchasing Officer in the Facilities team, you’ll make a positive impact by:
• Maintaining and updating the Asset Management Plan and Asset Information Model
• Ensuring asset data is accurate and up to date within the Common Data Environment
• Supporting preventative maintenance scheduling and asset lifecycle planning
• Managing purchasing activities, including coordinating purchase orders and ensuring procurement compliance
• Providing asset reporting that supports monthly, quarterly, and annual requirements
• Engaging with contractors and partners to support safe, compliant and efficient facility operations

You could be a great fit if you have:
• Demonstrated experience in asset management, purchasing or facilities operations in complex environments
• Strong systems capability across CAFM platforms, SAP, MRI and MS Office
• Knowledge of ISO 19650-3:2020, ISO 55000 or similar asset management frameworks
• Certificate III in Business Administration (desired), or willingness to undertake if required
• Confident people skills with the ability to build trusted relationships across teams and stakeholders
• Experience coordinating stock control, asset data, reporting and procurement tasks
• A calm, thoughtful approach with strong judgement, organisation and communication skills
