Laverton Clinic

Laverton Clinic is located at RAAF Base Williams in the suburb of Laverton, approximately 23kms west of the Melbourne CBD.  The base hosts several specialist schools, including the Language and Defence International Training Centre, and serves as the headquarters for the Air Force Training Group.  As a relatively small facility, the Clinic provides services including primary medical, nursing, pharmacy, and dental care.  The standard operating hours are generally 07:30-16:00 Monday to Thursday, and a half day Friday 07:30 – 13:00.

What you’ll do

• Deliver high-quality primary care to Defence members
• Occupational Medicine environment, conducting fitness-for-duty assessments and pre/post-deployment care, in addition to injury management, chronic disease management and preventative health
• Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary clinical environment where patient wellness is paramount

What you bring

• Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a General Practitioner
• FRACGP, FACRRM or Vocational Registration
• Minimum 2 years’ GP experience in the last 5 years in a Primary Care Setting
• Current CPR certification (HLTAID009)
• Australian Citizenship required (Baseline Security Clearance)
• Commitment to CPD and ethical, patient-centred care
