Join Serco’s ADF Health Services team and provide world-class dental care to Australian Defence Force (ADF) personnel in a rewarding, balanced, and supportive environment.

Your impact

• As a Dentist, you’ll deliver comprehensive dental care and help maintain the oral health and readiness of ADF members by:
• Providing preventative and emergency treatments, examinations, restorations and minor oral surgery
• Performing x-rays, extractions, root canals, and managing prosthodontics
• Working collaboratively with dental, medical and nursing teams to deliver safe, high-quality care

Where you’ll work

• Located at HMAS Cairns on the northern shore of Trinity Inlet and just minutes from the CBD, the Cairns Health Centre supports around 1,000 Navy and civilian personnel.
• Enjoy a Monday to Wednesday schedule (0730–1600 fixed term till September 2026) and a professional, team-oriented environment offering modern facilities and a great lifestyle balance.
• This is a civilian role – you’ll work alongside Defence personnel, but your position remains on-base in Australia

Who you are & what you’ll need

You’re a confident, compassionate dental professional who takes pride in quality care and values teamwork and professionalism.

To be successful, you’ll have:

• Current, unrestricted registration with AHPRA as a Dentist (General)
• Minimum 2 years’ clinical chair-side experience within the last 5 years
• Current First Aid (HLTAID011) and CPR (HLTAID009) certifications
• Ongoing participation in Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
• You must be an Australian Citizen to obtain the required Baseline Security Clearance
