ShapeAbout Singleton Health Centre 

The Singleton Health Centre is located at the Singleton Military Area, approximately 1 hour north-west of Newcastle.  This Army base is where infantry soldiers complete their initial employment training.  The health centre provides primary medical, nursing, dental, physiotherapy, mental health and pharmaceutical services. Standard operating hours are Monday – Friday 0730-1530

 

What you’ll do 

  • Provide oral hygiene treatments and preventive dental care to patients  

  • Deliver tailored oral health education and advice to support wellbeing  

  • Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation  

  • Support infection control, sterilisation, and hygiene protocols  

  • Collaborate with dental and multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe care  

  • Ensure compliance with Defence policies and clinical standards 

 

What you bring 

  • current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Dental Hygienist or Oral Therapist  

  • minimum 2 years’ recent clinical experience in dental hygiene  

  • ability to work both independently and within a supportive team  

  • strong communication skills with a caring, patient-focused approach  

  • commitment to maintaining high clinical and ethical standards  

  • Australian Citizenship to obtain Baseline Security Clearance
