About Campbell Health Centre
Located adjacent to Campbell Barracks in the heart of Swanbourne and is home to the Special Air Service Regiment. The health centre provides primary medical, aviation & underwater medical, nursing, mental health, physiotherapy, dental and pharmaceutical services. Standard operating hours are generally 07:30 – 15:30 Monday – Friday.
This role is primarily Monday to Friday (day shift) within a multidisciplinary healthcare team. After-hours, weekend and on-call shifts may be required depending on role requirements and base location.
What you’ll do
- Deliver nursing care to Defence personnel under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse
- Provide outpatient care, and where required support inpatient care within a health centre or hospital setting
- Administer medications (where endorsed) in line with legislative requirements and clinical protocols
- Assist with patient assessments, treatment plans and health promotion activities
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, efficient and high-quality care
What you bring
- Current unconditional and unrestricted AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse (Division 2)
- Minimum two years’ post registration nursing experience in acute care, primary healthcare or similar setting within the last five years
- Medication endorsement (if applicable to role requirements)
- Commitment to clinical governance, infection control and high-quality patient care
- Current CPR certification (HLTAID009)
- Australian Citizenship required (baseline security clearance)
- Commitment to CPD and ongoing professional development
