Make an impact at Serco
As a Finance / Contract Administrator, you’ll provide essential finance and administration support to help our contract team deliver smoothly and efficiently. Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you’ll work closely with customers, vendors, subcontractors and internal teams to manage purchase orders, payments, billing and day-to-day contract administration. Based in Macquarie Park, you’ll play an important role in keeping financial processes accurate, timely and customer-focused.
As a Finance / Contract Administrator in the contract team, you’ll make a positive impact by:
- Managing purchase orders and end-to-end payment processes for subcontractors
- Resolving payment issues and supporting vendors with payment queries
- Managing out-of-scope purchase orders and following them through to payment
- Preparing client billing, payment allocations, remittances and credit notes
- Coordinating consumables ordering and providing broader contract administration support
- Supporting roster changes and operational finance activities as required

You could be a great fit if you have:
- Experience in finance, accounts payable, office administration or contract management
- Experience using ERP systems, ideally SAP
- Basic to advanced Excel skills and confidence working with financial information
- Strong relationship management and communication skills
- A proactive approach to resolving issues and supporting customers and suppliers
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or postgraduate studies are desirable
- A satisfactory National Police Check
