About the Williamtown Health Centre 
Located 30km north of Newcastle at RAAF Base Williamtown, Australia’s premier fighter pilot training base. The base is one of the busiest in NSW, employing over 4500 people.  The health centre provides primary medical, aviation medical, outpatient, dental, nursing, physiotherapy, mental health, and pharmaceutical services.  Standard operating hours are generally 0730-1530 Monday - Friday. 
 

 

What you’ll do 

  • Deliver high quality primary healthcare, including health assessments and vaccinations or monitor and manage patients in a low dependency ward setting 
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including general practitioners, physios, mental health clinicians, and dental professionals 
  • Support Defence members through injury recovery, chronic condition management, and preventative care 

 

What you bring 

  • Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse 
  • Minimum one year Registered Nurse experience in acute care, primary health care or military setting 
  • Current CPR certification (HLTAID009) 
  • Australian Citizenship required (Baseline Security Clearance) 
  • Commitment to CPD and ethical, patient centred care 
  • Ability to work a 24/7 roster
