As Clinical Manager - Offender Programs at Acacia Prison, you will have a unique opportunity to lead a multidisciplinary team delivering evidence-based psychological interventions that support offender rehabilitation and contribute to safer communities. This is a full-time leadership role based at Acacia Prison in Wooroloo, WA.

 

As a Clinical Manager - Offender Programs, you’ll make a positive impact by:

  • Lead and inspire a team of psychologists, social workers, and program facilitators
  • Oversee the delivery of structured offender rehabilitation programs  
  • Provide clinical supervision, training, and performance development 
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement in rehabilitative outcomes

This position offers a unique opportunity to lead a multidisciplinary team delivering evidence-based psychological interventions that support offender rehabilitation and contribute to safer communities. 

 

You could be a great fit if you have: 

  • An accredited qualification in Psychology and registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), or an approved Master’s degree in Social Work and full membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW), with experience as a registered practitioner for a minimum for 5 years
  • Experience in the leadership of a multidisciplinary team delivering psychological services or programs, preferably within a correctional, welfare or other institutional setting. 
  • Experience in providing Psychologists and Social Workers with Clinical Supervision
  • AHPRA Board Approved Supervisor (Psychologists) is highly desirable 
  • Experience in the design and delivery of services for young adult offenders, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander offenders, those from cultural and linguistically diverse backgrounds, and other at-risk groups.
