Join the Allied Health Team as a Dental Assistant delivering high-quality, patient-centred oral healthcare that meets the unique needs of individuals in custody and supports their overall wellness. This is a part-time role (flexible days).

In this role, you will:

• Deliver high-quality, efficient, patient-centred dental care  

• Address custodial oral health needs to support overall wellbeing  

• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver coordinated, patient-centred care

• Communicate effectively with health staff, custodial teams, and external providers 
   

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Certificate III in Dental Assisting (HLT35021) from a registered training organisation (RTO) 

• If with Certificate IV in Dental Assisting - Dental Radiography, must hold a current license with radiation authority  

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

• First Aid Certificate  

• Excellent communication and documentation skills

• Cultural awareness and the ability to work with diverse populations
