Make an impact at Serco
The objective of the Psychological Health Services(PHS) is to provide psychological assessment and intervention to inmates for a broad range of presenting issues. There is specific focus on suicide and self-harm risk assessment and crisis intervention. Psychological Health Service also provides goal-directed, psychological interventions appropriate for a forensic population. This is a full-time, permanent role based in Wooroloo, WA.
You could be a great fit if you have:
- Hold a valid registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA, with a Bachelors degree in Psychology (BPsych or BAPsych - Honours); OR Masters/Doctoral Degree in Psychology (Forensic, Clinical, Counselling)
- Solid understanding of evidence based practices in the assessment and intervention of different psychological and behavioural presentations
- Demonstrated experience in providing individual counselling, preferably within a correctional, welfare or similiar institutional environment
- Proven ability to collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver psychological services and programs
- Exceptional report writing abilities, producing accurate and defensible documentation
