As a Registered Nurse - Mental Health, you will play a key role in providing high-quality mental health care to inmates at Acacia Prison. You will conduct health assessments, provide case management, and offer support to patients with diagnosed mental health conditions. Working in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, you will ensure the safety and well-being of both inmates and staff. We have full-time and casual opportunities available, role based in Wooroloo, WA. 

 

You could be a great fit if you have: 

  • Current and unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
  • Minimum 2 years clinical experience in a mental health setting (community, acute or similar)
  • Relevant post graduate qualifications or working towards same, or a broad range or experience and training relevant to the role 
  • Strong clinical knowledge of mental health issues and problem-solving skills 
  • The ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to cultural awareness and respecting diversity
