Your Opportunity
The Bid Manager at Climatize leads the full lifecycle of strategic proposal development across sustainability consultancy bids. This role is responsible for managing complex technical and commercial submissions from start to finish, ensuring that all deliverables align with both client requirements and Climatize’s standards. The Bid Manager takes charge of bid strategy, team coordination, contractual reviews, and post-tender clarifications until award and handover.
Key Accountabilities

Own and lead the entire bid process from opportunity identification to award, including EOIs, PQQs, RFPs, RFQs, VO submissions, and post-tender clarifications.

Interpret complex RFPs to define compliance requirements, deliverables, and win themes.

Coordinate technical and commercial strategies to develop competitive, high-quality proposals.

Lead internal kickoff sessions and bid reviews to align the team on strategy, resource input, and timelines.

Lead the development of both technical narratives and commercial fee proposals in collaboration with the leadership team.

Ensure fee proposals are aligned with scope, stage breakdowns, local regulations, and client expectations.

Act as the single point of contact for all tender communications, managing clarifications, addenda, and negotiations.

Handle post-submission and post-tender clarifications with confidence and accuracy.

Lead or support client-facing presentations, interviews, and negotiations up to the award stage.

Coordinate with finance and leadership on award triggers and CRM tracking.

Identify and engage external subconsultants required to complete proposals.

Manage NDAs, fee splits, scope matrices, and dependencies across multidisciplinary teams.

Ensure all external partner inputs are received, integrated, and compliant with the overall bid strategy.

Review commercial terms, contracts, and subconsultancy agreements for risk, compliance, payment terms, and legal deviations.

Coordinate contract deviation logs and approvals with the leadership team.

Maintain an up-to-date bid pipeline, win/loss dashboards, and opportunity tracking systems.

Regularly update internal dashboards, reporting bid status.

Coordinate with finance to reflect project awards in internal systems and tag opportunities by client or discipline.

Maintain and update Climatize’s proposal templates, CVs, project sheets, and corporate profiles.

Lead the final quality review of technical and commercial submissions to ensure clarity, branding, and compliance with submission requirements.

Oversee formatting, proofreading, and consistency across all bid documents.
Specific Requirements

10+ years’ experience in a bid management or proposals leadership role within the AEC, sustainability, PMC, or consulting industry.

Proven experience leading complex technical and commercial proposals across the UAE, KSA, and wider GCC.

Strong knowledge of GCC tendering processes and prequalification protocols.

Deep understanding of government, semi-government, and private client expectations.

Strong grasp of technical scopes and commercial structuring.

Prior experience in client presentations and award negotiations.

Excellent writing, formatting, and communication skills.

Proficiency in MS Office Suite.

Strong leadership, critical thinking, and client communication abilities.
