Your Opportunity
The Cleaner is responsible for delivering cleaning services throughout the contract site, meeting expectations for safety, quality, and value for money. The cleaning team plays a pivotal role in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the cleanliness of all facilities across the site. Flexibility is essential, as team members may be assigned to any area within the contract site. The role involves delivering services to agreed standards in all assigned areas, as directed by the Cleaning Team Leader or Cleaning Manager.
The ideal candidates should demonstrate effective teamwork skills, be self-motivated, and have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. They should also be capable of prioritising and managing their personal workload efficiently.
This role is part of our MELABS contract in Dubai, UAE.
Key Accountabilities

Deliver cleaning and related customer services to the agreed standards as defined in the service level specifications within the specified areas.

Clean to a satisfactory and proven hygienic standard by following work procedures that incorporate all quality standards set by our client, as well as recognized industry best practices and guidance.

Complete all tasks as trained and instructed.

Empty, dispose of, and replace liners for all waste types according to training guidelines.

Ensure waste is disposed of correctly according to type and relevant regulations.

Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and infection control.

Participate as a full member of the wider team by supporting colleagues and working flexibly to assist other team members.

Ensure customer satisfaction.

Communicate effectively with staff at all levels.

Assist and liaise with Cleaning Team Leaders and the Cleaning Manager.
Specific Requirements
-
Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage.

Familiarity with cleaning methodologies.

Preferably holds a High School Diploma.

Requires knowledge of cleaning methods, working practices, and HSQE requirements.

Knowledge of cleaning machinery and equipment.

Good command of the English language; Arabic language skills are an advantage.

Strong customer focus.

Physically fit and in good health, due to long periods of mobile work across a large-scale site.
