Your Opportunity
The Contract Specialist / Joint Movements & Travel Specialist will provide administrative and operational support to the contract across a range of services. These include administering and coordinating accommodation arrangements and travel movements for Australian Defence Force personnel at Al Minhad Air Base (e.g., in-country relocations, scheduled leave, etc.), as well as assisting in the delivery of Base Pass operations. Responsibilities include preparing and administering applications and replacements for all identification cards, generating reports, managing email correspondence, scheduling appointments, and performing other related administrative duties. As this position requires an AGSVA Security Clearance at a minimum level of NV1, the role will also involve assisting with escort duties for non-cleared personnel when required.
Key Accountabilities

Coordinate the movement tasks in support of minor operations in the Middle East region;

Provide advice and conduct liaison with the supported ADF units and coalition forces on movement related requirements;

Coordinate transportation as required;

Provide advice and assistance to ADF units on the preparation of personnel scheduled to travel;

Coordinate the physical movement of cargo to be shipped on the scheduled ADF flight from Al Minhad Airbase;

Report all personnel and cargo movements in accordance with the relevant ADF SOP’s;

Provide assistance in the provision for the services of a Pass Office to prepare and administer the application/replacement of all Identification Cards, report generation, email correspondence, appointments etc.

Coordinate between the customer and the Serco Accommodation team to ensure all incoming and departing members accommodations are organised. .

Carry out escort tasks as required to ensure and maintain the protection of ADF assets and Information

Carry out any other necessary and reasonable duties as requested by the Contract Specialist Lead or the Fire & Security Manager to ensure service delivery.
Specific Requirements

3 years minimum administrative experience in a fast paced operations environment

Previous experience working in a base operations environment is preferable;

Committed to providing services that promote the wellbeing of all ADF and Serco personnel

Strong, positive Security mindset with knowledge of AGSVA Security Clearance holder requirements.

Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team environment

Possess a current Australian Federal Security Clearance (minimum requirement - Negative vetting level 1) issued by the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA)

Possess a current valid Australian drivers’ licence (in order to obtain UAE driving licence)
