Your Opportunity

We are looking for Mechanical Designer to be responsible for the design, coordination, and review of mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection) for engineering projects, ensuring compliance with client requirements, codes, and project standards.

This role is subject to contract award.

Key accountabilities

Design Development: Prepare HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection system designs for engineering projects.

Ensure designs comply with local codes, standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, etc.), and landlord requirements.

Coordination: Coordinate with architects, electrical designers, and other disciplines.

Ensure mechanical designs are integrated into overall fit-out plans.

Documentation: Produce detailed drawings (schematic, tender)

Prepare mechanical specifications, schedules, and material submittal reviews.

Site Support: Respond to RFIs, review shop drawings, and conduct site inspections.

Ensure installation aligns with approved designs and specifications.

Stakeholder Liaison: Attend coordination and technical meetings

Specific requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in relevant field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
• Proficiency in relevant software (AutoCAD, MS Office, project management tools).
