Your Opportunity  

In line with the wider group strategy, the Advisory Operational Director will be the key catalyst in growing Serco’s reputation and involvement in KSA’s Vision 2030. This role will support in the delivery of Serco’s contractual obligations by ensuring efficiency within our operations, generate organic growth opportunities and provide technical support within our growth team to support the acquisition of new business.

 

This is a managerial level position and you will have multiple direct staff reporting to you, therefore it is expected to have the ability to lead and influence others, adaptability to complex matrix project-based work, where functional and operational management may be fluid, is required for the role.

 

Key Accountabilities

The Advisory Operational Director is accountable for the growth, positioning and commercial success of advisory services across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, driving market entry, revenue generation and long-term strategic client relationships.

 

The role provides executive leadership across business development, client engagement and delivery oversight, shaping high-value opportunities and converting them into sustainable revenue and operational growth.

 

As a senior market-facing leader, the role is responsible for building strategic access across government, PIF and national programmes, influencing at the highest levels, and positioning the organisation as a trusted partner in delivering Vision 2030 priorities.

 

Specific Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with deep market knowledge and an established professional network.

  • Strong demonstrable experience working across government entities, giga-projects, sovereign-backed organisations and/or PIF-related environments.

  • Proven track record of delivering more than GBP 5 million annual revenue in advisory or consulting services.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, Public Policy, Finance, Real Estate, Management, or a related discipline. Master’s degree or MBA preferred.

  • Professional consulting, commercial or sector-specific qualifications advantageous.

  • Arabic language capability would be beneficial, though not mandatory.

  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills essential.
