Your Opportunity  

The CNS / ATM Engineer will provide technical support for the planning, design review, implementation, integration, testing, commissioning, and operational transition of CNS/ATM systems associated with the CAT III and A-SMGCS Level 4 Programme, ensuring compliance with ICAO, GCAA, and project requirements while maintaining uninterrupted operations in a live airport environment.

 

The hiring for this role is subject to contract award.

 

Key Accountabilities

Design and Technical Assurance

  • Review contractor design submissions, drawings, specifications, interface documents, and System Design Documents (SDD).

  • Participate in PDR, CDR, technical workshops, and design coordination meetings.

  • Ensure compliance with ICAO Annex 10, GCAA regulations, and project requirements.

  • Coordinate interfaces between ICWP / ITWP, ILS, DME, VHF, VCCS, A-SMGCS, SMR, MLAT, ADS-B, EFPS, and ATM systems.

Construction and Integration Support

  • Monitor installation and integration activities.

  • Coordinate with OEMs, contractors, and airport stakeholders.

  • Support change management and interface control activities.

Testing and Commissioning

  • Participate in FAT, SAT, SIT, ORAT, and integrated operational trials.

  • Witness testing activities and verify closure of observations.

  • Support flight inspection and operational acceptance activities.

Safety and Regulatory Compliance

  • Support AMC-25 applications, safety assessments, MOC activities, and hazard identification.

  • Assist in maintaining technical evidence registers and compliance records.

Documentation and Reporting

  • Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and action trackers.

  • Support preparation of as-built documentation and handover packages.

General Responsibilities

  • Support programme milestones and deliverables.

  • Perform any additional duties delegated by the Project Manager.

 

Specific Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.

Experience

  • Minimum 7 years' experience in CNS/ATM systems, preferably within airport or ANSP environments.
