Your Opportunity
The Civil Engineer will provide engineering oversight and coordination for all civil and airside infrastructure works associated with the CAT III and A-SMGCS Level 4 Programme while ensuring safe execution and operational continuity within a brownfield airport environment.
The hiring for this role is subject to contract award.
Key Accountabilities
Design and Construction Support

Review civil design drawings, calculations, and contractor submissions.

Coordinate trenching, duct banks, manholes, foundations, cable routes, and pavement reinstatement activities.

Ensure compliance with ICAO Annex 14, GCAA CARs requirements, and airport standards.

Support utility surveys and interface management with existing infrastructure.
Construction Monitoring

Monitor contractor activities and workmanship.

Coordinate airside possessions and work permits.

Support pavement reinstatement inspections and acceptance.
Safety and Operational Continuity

Support safety assessments and operational impact analysis.

Coordinate with Airside Operations to minimize disruptions.

Support temporary operational configurations where required.
Documentation and Reporting

Prepare inspection reports and progress updates.

Support preparation of as-built records and handover documents.
General Responsibilities

Coordinate with contractors and stakeholders.

Perform any additional duties delegated by the Project Manager.
Specific Requirements
Qualifications
-
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
Experience
-
Minimum 7 years' experience in airport or infrastructure projects, preferably within operational airfield environments.
