Your Opportunity

 

The Fire Rescuse Operations Manager will lead and oversee the performance of key subcontractors , ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, safety standards, and quality requirements. The will be responsible for the overall project plan to ensure complaince with / contract requirement for out client while managing the day -to day operations of assigned projects to achieve operational, finacial and service delivery objectives.

 

Key accountabilities

  • Client Relationship Management – Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with clients, ensuring service delivery meets agreed standards and expectations.
  • Stakeholder Engagement – Foster effective communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to support project objectives and operational outcomes.
  • Issue Escalation & Resolution – Identify, escalate, and present issues with recommended solutions for management approval, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to operations.
  • Project Planning & Management – Develop, implement, and monitor project plans, timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful completion within scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Day-to-Day Problem Solving – Proactively address and resolve operational challenges, applying sound judgement to maintain service quality and operational efficiency.
  • Resource Onboarding Oversight – Oversee the onboarding process for subcontractor resources, ensuring all compliance, training, and induction requirements are met.
  • Staff Onboarding Management – Manage the onboarding of new employees, ensuring seamless integration into the organisation, completion of mandatory requirements, and alignment with team objectives.
  • Improvement Initiatives – Identify, develop, and implement process and service improvements to enhance operational efficiency, quality, and client satisfaction.
  • Embedding Company Culture & Values – Actively promote and model organisational values, fostering a positive, inclusive, and high-performance workplace culture.
  • Risk Management – Maintain and update the project/operational risk register, ensuring risks are identified, assessed, mitigated, and reported in line with governance requirements.Contractual understanding & Awareness – is able to see and address gaps with contractual scope and find resolutions and see them through to conclusion with the support of the Commercial Business Partner and Head of Operations.
  • Compliance oversight – Ensuring all compliance activities are carried out 1st Line inspections and audits carried out on site by management to ensure compliance with regulations and standards

 

What we are looking for : 

  • The job holder will be educated to a level of High School Diploma, General Education Degree or equivalent professional qualification ideally with project management experience.
  • The job holder will have 5 years minimum experience in operations.
  • Knowledge of fire rescue operations is highly desirable
