Children’s Activity Assistant

Location: Bangor Aurora Leisure Centre, BT20 4BN
Salary: £13.05 per hour
Schedule: Casual contract term time only, working hours between 9am-5pm Monday - Friday.

What you’ll do as a Children’s Activity Assistant

  • In this role you will provide clean, safe, and supervised facilities and activities for the children of customers to the Leisure Centre, as well to be responsible for the smooth operational running of all types of parties the centre always holds and provide party guests with first class levels of customer service.
  • This is your chance to be involved in keeping children entertained and you will go home each day with a huge sense of satisfaction at the difference you have made.
  • You will help in facilitating a safe, fun, and professional working environment with free access to the leisure facilities, various discounts and excellent development opportunities.

 

About you

  • To be considered for this role, you will have experience in dealing with high volumes of children and working in a busy customer-based environment.
  • You must be enthusiastic, resilient and be able to liaise professionally with parents, customers, and other members of the workforce, as well as being able to think on your feet and effectively always communicate and be willing to learn from others.

Vetting and checks:

An Enhanced DBS check is required for this role. This includes spent and unspent convictions, cautions, and any relevant information held by local police, in accordance with the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and safeguarding requirements. You will also complete an Occupational Health Questionnaire to allow us to provide any support needed for you to succeed in the role.
