Schedule: Casual/PT — Monday to Friday 2pm–8pm and Saturday 8.30am–2.30pm (depending on business needs)

As a Gymnastics Coach in our Leisure team, you’ll help shape the next generation of athletes by delivering engaging, high-quality sessions that inspire confidence and progression.
Your work will have a positive impact on the local community by promoting health, fitness, and personal growth through gymnastics. You’ll play a key role in creating a safe, supportive environment where every participant can thrive.

 

What you’ll do as a Gymnastics Coach

 

You’ll be entrusted to:

 

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality gymnastics coaching sessions
  • Develop initiatives to grow the gymnastics programme at Aurora
  • Assist in creating programmes across multiple sites
  • Prepare and monitor coach rotas, ensuring ratios and costs are met
  • Maintain accurate records for all sessions in line with facility processes
  • Support customers with queries in a polite and professional manner

You’ll be a great fit for this role if you have:

 

  • 5 GCSEs or equivalent (grade C and above)
  • Level 1 British Gymnastics Qualification (or equivalent)
  • Level 2 British Gymnastics Qualification (desirable)
  • First Aid and Child Protection training (desirable)
  • A passion for coaching and developing others

An Enhanced DBS check (Access NI) is required for this role. This includes spent and unspent convictions, cautions, and any relevant information held by local police, in accordance with the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and safeguarding requirements. You will also complete an Occupational Health Questionnaire to allow us to provide any support needed for you to succeed in the role.
