Salary: £13.45 per hour plus excellent benefits
Schedule: Part time, 28 hours per week,evenings and weekends, flexible on shift patterns.

As a Cleaner, you'll help create an environment that people can enjoy with confidence. From maintaining high standards of cleanliness to supporting the safe operation of the facility, your work has purpose and delivers a positive impact on communities. You'll play an important role in ensuring visitors can enjoy leisure facilities that are welcoming, safe and ready to use every day. Based on the success profile for the role, you'll contribute to a culture of care, pride and trust while helping to create a positive experience for everyone who visits the centre. 

 

What you’ll do as a Cleaner

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the facility at all times.
  • Carry out cleaning duties safely, including the correct use and handling of cleaning chemicals in line with Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) requirements.
  • Follow cleaning schedules and complete all required records and checklists accurately.
  • Inspect cleaning equipment before use, ensure it is used safely, and return equipment to secure storage after use.
  • Monitor stock levels and notify management when replenishment is required.
  • Report cleaning issues, maintenance defects and any health and safety concerns to the Duty Manager promptly.
  • Provide helpful information to customers and support a welcoming environment for all visitors.

Does this sound like you?

  • Experience in a cleaning role or the ability to demonstrate transferable skills and capability in this area.
  • Good communication and customer care skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
  • Good awareness of health and safety requirements in the workplace.
  • Ability to use initiative, manage tasks effectively and complete records accurately.
