As a Facilities Manager in our Bisham Abbey National Sports Centre team, you’ll take a leading role in keeping one of the UK’s most iconic sporting and heritage venues running smoothly. You’ll make sure our facilities are safe, welcoming, and high-quality – supporting both elite athletes and our local community to thrive.

 

 

You’ll be entrusted to:

  • Provide day-to-day leadership to our operations team, acting as second in command and supporting the Contract Manager.
  • Champion a customer-first mindset, ensuring service excellence across all areas, including accommodation.
  • Oversee site standards, keeping facilities clean, safe, and professionally presented, while regularly acting as Manager on Duty.
  • Work closely with departmental leads to maintain operational readiness and foster a proactive, collaborative culture.
  • Support and lead the Front of House team to deliver an outstanding guest experience.
  • Monitor and report on key accommodation performance indicators such as revenue, costs, guest satisfaction, and service standards.

You’ll be a great fit for this role if you have…

  • Experience leading high-performing, customer-focused teams.
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety at Work legislation and its practical application.
  • Strong communication, organisation, and leadership skills.
  • ICT proficiency, including MS Office and report writing.
  • A valid First Aid at Work certificate (or willingness to achieve one on appointment).
  • Previous experience in running Leisure or Health club or Hospitality operations,
