Bisham Abbey National Sports Centre, SL7 1RR - £26,789 per annum (£13.21 per hour) – Permanent - 39 per week between Monday to Sunday, bank holidays and shift pattern from 6am to 5pm

To deliver those services takes an enthusiastic and customer focused team - and right now we are looking to recruit for a Head Housekeeper to join us at Bisham Abbey.
 
Bisham Abbey is one of Sport England`s National Sports Centres and is home to a number of National Governing Bodies of Sport. Bisham Abbey provides excellent facilities to Britain’s leading sports men and women. Bisham Abbey is also a Conferencing and Event Centre, boasting a large number of recently refurbished rooms and outdoor spaces for weddings, corporate events, and team-building days.
 
As the Head Housekeeper, you will be responsible for working with and leading the housekeeping team to ensure the standards are at their best, at all times.  You will be covering areas such as taking over the management of housekeeping, adhering to household standards and maintaining stock levels such as linen and toiletries to name a few.
 
On a day to day basis, you will be carrying out a variety of tasks such as ensuring reactive cleaning is undertaken, making sure the non-sporting facilities which include bedrooms, guest laundries, laundry cupboards and bedroom corridors are maintained to appropriate standards of cleanliness throughout the day and ensuring all customer feedback relating to cleaning is effectively managed and most of all ensuring guests have an enjoyable stay.
 
 
About You 


 
The successful candidate will be a passionate and enthusiastic individual who like the members of staff, pride and strive to give the best service possible for those who visit the centre and go the extra mile for customers when required.

 

To be considered for this role you will have prior experience of housekeeping and cleaning, ideally in a Leisure/Hotel Environment and you will have good leadership experience and skills.
