Schedule: Perm/ FT/37 hours per week - Wed-Thurs 8:00am-5:00pm | Fri 8:00am-2:00pm | Sat-Sun 8:00am-5:00pm

As an Airfield Services Wash Team Operative in our UK and EU Defence team, you’ll help ensure aircraft support and airfield operations are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Your work will contribute to maintaining a safe, operational environment at RAF Brize Norton while supporting critical defence activities.

What you’ll do as an Airfield Services Wash Team Operative
- Complete allocated tasks in line with customer and company procedures, standards and instructions.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and husbandry across work areas.
- Accurately complete all required documentation and maintenance records.
- Help prevent Foreign Object Debris (FOD) hazards and promote a safe working environment.
- Wear and maintain the correct personal protective equipment (PPE) for all tasks.
- Report safety concerns, defects, near misses and other operational issues through the appropriate channels.

- Able to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance.
- Hold fewer than six penalty points on your UK driving licence.
- A confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills.
- Able to build positive customer relationships and work effectively as part of a team.
- Calm under pressure, self-motivated and focused on delivering high standards.

Vetting and checks:
This role requires Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance, which involves verifying your identity, employment history, nationality, and criminal record to meet government security standards. In addition, depending on the nature of the role, you may need to obtain formal Security Clearance (such as CTC or SC), which includes more detailed background checks on employment, criminal record, and financial history to ensure suitability for working in secure environments. Please note that UK residency requirements may apply for certain levels of clearance. You will also complete an Occupational Health Questionnaire so we can identify and provide any support you may need to undertake the role effectively.
